This year the parade starts at 11:30 am and the picnic will follow at 12:30 at the schoolhouse. All are welcome! This year there is $25 price for best parade entry and $25 for best dressed pet!
As usual, there will be free hot dogs and soft drinks, plus the wonderful dishes that appear as if by magic from friends and residents. Tickets for raffle prices are $1 and Beer is $1.
There will even be live Bluegrass music this year! The Shepherd Canyon Band will be playing. 
Come and support the Volunteer Fire Department and celebrate a good old fashioned Independence Day in Graniteville!

Don’t miss this year’s parade and picnic in Graniteville on Sat. July 6th. Everone is welcome to participate in the parade so bring your kazoo, decorate your bike or just be a spectator and vote for your favorite entry. A free picnic will follow at the schoolhouse with a great raffle to benefit the Graniteville Volunteer Fire Department.
